The traditional Tsonga word for ‘dreams’ or ‘dreamer’ is ‘Milorho.’ If you enjoy the peace and tranquillity of nature and mountainous areas, you are in for a treat as a nature lover, and our “place of dreams” is for you.
Milorho is a family-run lodge, nestled comfortably on the northern slopes of the Magaliesburg Mountains, the world’s second oldest mountain range. Our pristine and tranquil reserve is home to a diverse array of endemic soul food for birders, botanists, hikers, and nature enthusiasts.
Milorho offers a selection of accommodation options; choose from our 5 self-catering cottages or for a more rustic experience, our camping option.
If you need to unwind, de-stress, or reconnect with your soul, this is the place to be. To ensure this, we do not allow music or radios that could disrupt your experience. Our admission policy governs the environment in which you can have fun. Please also be advised that we are not pet-friendly.
We have over 600 hectares of vast beautiful kloofs and awe-inspiring rock pools where you can experience nature’s freedom through comfortable walks or exciting trails.
Milorho offers a relaxing bush getaway, only 1h15 from Pretoria and 1h45 from Johannesburg.
